Week started on Monday, after introducing myself and meeting the team at Sidekix, I was straight down to business. I was firstly involved with calling a number of employers regarding their participation in a football tournament that Sidekix is organising on 9th September. This was followed by a staff meeting at which a wide range of matters were discussed. After lunch I  worked with the accounts administrator Yvonne Coyle, assisting her with organising and distributing staff payslips. Finishing up my first day with a few phone calls.

Tuesday Morning consisted of working on invoices, with the help of the director of finance and events. Then late morning travelled to Shotts with the sales and promotions manager, to coach. Lunch was followed by writing a script for a play Sidekix is producing for young participants to present in December.

Another successful day!!

Wednesday started with a presentation at the Time Capsule, myself and Paul Mcgrillen presented to 3 classes of primary 6/7's with Paul's glorious football years, and introduced them to Sidekix. Arriving back at the office to start on phoning employees for their avaliablity for a training course that we kindly put them on. I'm now finishing my evening with filling in my blog and log book.  

Thursday, what started of a fanstastic day turned into a disapointing one as none of the children showed up to be coached by myself and Paul Mc. Paul explained about the coaching plan that we intened to offer.

On my last day, Friday, I was coaching at an open day in shotts. I was coaching dance in the morning along side Yvonne and Caitlin. Then I was working with other coaches, supervising the activies ie, bouncy castles.

In conclusion, I gained an absolutely brillaint expierence in the life of work at sidekix. It has given me a thorough view on how a business is run, the work load and effort contributed by staff, the problems that can crop up and how they are over come, also that work can be pleasant place with genuine colleagues. My confidence level has risen as result of working here.

I would like to say many thanks to staff at sidekix, for the time they spend with me on my work experience and the new things they have taught me.
